San Diego investor Dr. John H. Doede has lifted his stake in Crown Bancorp from 13.59% to 14.95%, or 97,382 common shares.

Doede purchased 8,889 shares of the San Diego bank between June 19 and July 5 for $4.75 each, or a total of $40,632, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

Meanwhile, San Diego investor Maximo Haddad has increased his stake in Crown from 5.4% to 8.5%, or 55,281 common shares, according to a SEC filing.

Haddad bought 20,000 shares on Jan. 12 for $4 each.
