Paramount Sues Video Firms: Paramount Pictures said it has filed a lawsuit against Video Broadcasting Systems and several Midwestern video companies that have allegedly placed local advertising messages on home videotapes of Paramount movies after the videocassettes were acquired by local video retailers for sale or rental. The lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court in Wichita, Kan.
