On July 16, you printed a cover story on the democracy movement in China (“Eyewitness at Tian An Men Square,” by Edward A. Gargan). At a time when the Chinese government would like the world to forget about the Beijing massacre and not notice the secret executions taking place, it is good to know that The Times does not see China as a low-priority item.
