Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. executive Yoshikazu Hanawa has been named chairman of Nissan’s U.S. manufacturing and sales units. Hanawa is managing director of Nissan Motor in Japan. He will also be chairman of Nissan Motor Manufacturing Corp. USA, of Smyrna, Tenn., and of Nissan Motor Corp. USA, of Carson. He replaces Shoichi Nakajima, who will assume a senior counselor’s role.
