In Defense of Jane Fonda

I read with disappointment the angry letters of Oct. 8 that followed Paul Rosenfield’s article about Jane Fonda.
It seems to me that few of us could have withstood the press scrutiny directed at Fonda.
I choose not to continue to condemn her for what she did as a youngster 30 years ago, but rather to recognize her many fine accomplishments of the present.
