Actor James Arness, 66, will be back in the saddle as Matt Dillon in “Gunsmoke II,” a two-hour CBS movie sequel to TV’s longest-running Western series. Filming is scheduled to begin in mid-November. In the story, Marshal Dillon grows restless and leaves the ranch where he retired. But while he’s gone, renegade Apaches raid the ranch and carry off his daughter.
