Morita’s Book on United States

The “reaction of the intelligent American reader” to Pfaff’s column should be nothing short of outrage.

Yes, the world today does pose new problems questioning the effectiveness of our foreign policy and our economic position in the world; and, at times, we do deal with these problems ineffectively.

However, to suggest that the U.S. no longer “pays its way” or does not take its actions seriously in the international community is absurd!
