County’s Didier Named to Judgeship

SANTA ANA — Daniel J. Didier, deputy county counsel for Orange County, was named Wednesday by Gov. George Deukmejian to a judgeship on the Orange County Municipal Court in Westminster.
In his work for the county, Didier, 43, served as a liaison between the Board of Supervisors and the special counsel representing John Wayne Airport. He has been a deputy county counsel since 1977.
Didier, of Santa Ana, holds a bachelor’s degree from Cal State Fullerton and a law degree from Western State University. He also earned a master’s degree in business taxation from USC.
Didier’s new job pays $82,054 annually. He replaces Judge Floyd H. Schenk, who was promoted to Orange County Superior Court.
