Matterhorn ‘Grows’ a Bit

CERVINIA, Italy — The Matterhorn is about 7 inches higher than the 14,776 feet 2 inches reported on most maps, the Italian Geographic Military Institute announced Tuesday. The institute revised the Matterhorn’s height to 14,776 feet 9 inches, citing a recent survey that used U.S. satellites.
