San Diego Charger owner Alex Spanos confirmed that the club’s scouting staff has been fired as part of a front-office shake-up that began with Steve Ortmayer’s dismissal as director of football operations.

Spanos also said Bobby Beathard would be officially introduced as the Chargers’ new general manager at a news conference today.
