Recently you carried a story about a group placing City Council members Hal Bernson and Joy Picus on their “enemies” list for allegedly not cleaning up graffiti in the Valley. That’s just plain wrong.
As the past president of the Devonshire Division PALS, we worked closely with the council office on graffiti cleanup efforts. In fact, Councilman Bernson has even donated graffiti-cleanup equipment to the LAPD!
