THIS WEEKEND: Best-selling suspense author Dean R. Koontz of Orange does his only book-signing for “The Bad Place,” his latest. . . . “I love to do them, but I’m working seven days a week,” he said. “I’ve got four TV movies and two theatricals going, and the deadlines are horrendous.” It’ll be Saturday at Book Carnival, 870 N. Tustin Ave., Orange, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
