A federal appeals court in St. Louis refused to hear further arguments in an antitrust suit brought by the players’ union against the NFL.
In ruling, 7-2, against rehearing the case, the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals let stand an earlier decision that the NFL’s free agency clauses cannot be challenged.
