I work at Kennedy Space Center in Florida while my husband maintains our home in Lakewood, Calif. As a treat, he periodically sends me clippings of Al Martinez’s column. He’s wonderful! Having lived in Los Angeles for 27 years--and been gone for 3--he rekindles the spirit of the L.A. scene every time I read one of his articles. He can move one, whether it’s to tears or chuckles. Just thought I’d tell him so!
