Air Passenger Group Urges Anti-Terrorism Program

International Federation of Air Passenger Assns. proposed Friday a $1-billion program to fight terrorism, funded by a $1 increase in air fares.

IFAPA President Geoffrey Lipman said a “massive program” is needed for research into reducing the cost of anti-terrorist measures and making them more effective. The IFAPA is an independent organization based in Geneva.
