It really galls me, the “life boat” mentality of the people living in San Luis Obispo area. Your article shows callousness. Why do they think they have a corner on saving their open space?
How quickly we forget the beautiful ranches and farmlands that existed in San Diego County, Orange County and Los Angeles-San Fernando Valley. We here have endured the influx of population for a great many years. Who cared about preservation then?
