Saatchi Shake-Up: The London office of the troubled advertising giant Saatchi & Saatchi is expected to soon announce plans to restructure the headquarters staff and to lay off up to 70 people, according to the Financial Times. The newspaper also said layoffs were expected to be announced at one of Saatchi’s largest U.S. agencies, Backer, Spielvogel, Bates. But in a telephone interview, Carl Spielvogel, chairman of the agency, denied that any layoffs were planned at his agency.
