ART BUCKS: Fluor Corp. is the only local company on a new list of 1988’s leading corporate givers. . . . The “Chronicle of Philanthropy,” of Washingtonranked Fluor 15th nationally in the percentage of its giving to the arts and humanities. . . . No dollar amount was given, but in fiscal 1988, the Irvine-based company’s foundation gave away $1.4 million, including $250,000 to the Performing Arts Center and $70,000 to South Coast Repertory.
