2 Exposed to Radiation

AIKEN, S.C. — Two maintenance workers were exposed to radioactive materials Wednesday when 20 gallons of heavy water escaped from a reactor pipe at the Savannah River nuclear weapons plant. A plant spokesman said protective suits limited the pair’s exposure.
