“Born on the Fourth of July” may have won four Golden Globe awards, but authenticity awards are conspicuous by their absence.

Depiction of the Veterans Administration Hospital as being rat-infested and with filthy conditions of vomit and human excrement on the floors does a gross injustice to the VA and hospital personnel.

There are thousands of veterans, including me, who have verified the outstanding care they have received at VA hospitals.
