FULLERTON : Play in the Snow Without the Cold

Although temperatures are expected to reach the 80s today, anyone showing up to sunbathe at Craig Regional Park will find sleds racing down the slopes and children building snowmen.

More than 100 tons of man-made snow will cover the hillsides from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. as the Easter Seal Society holds its annual SnowFest winter carnival fund-raiser. There will be toboggan rides, snow-play areas, pony rides, music and magic acts.

Admission is $1.50 for adults and 50 cents for children ages 3 to 12.

Parking is $2, with a shuttle service from Brea Mall. Craig Regional Park is at 3300 State College Blvd.
