For Better Living Inc.: The San Juan Capistrano diversified company reported net income of $204,000 for the year ended Dec. 30, contrasted with a net loss of $741,000 for the prior year. Sales dipped to $86.8 million, from $87.5 million. For the fourth quarter, the company lost $392,000, compared with a net loss of $668,000 for the comparable period in 1988. Sales declined 4%, to $22.3 million from $23.2 million.
