J. P. Morgan & Co. has named...

J. P. Morgan & Co. has named George W. Rowe as managing director of the firm’s California Private Banking Group. Rowe will oversee the Los Angeles and San Francisco private banking offices, which are expanding. Rowe joined Morgan Guaranty Trust Co., the firm’s principal banking subsidiary, in 1962, was appointed a vice president in 1970 and a senior vice president in 1981.
