NATION : Atwater Released From Hospital

WASHINGTON — Republican National Committee Chairman Lee Atwater, who was determined as having a non-malignant brain tumor, was released from the hospital today.
Republican Party aides said that the tumor was found in Atwater’s brain and was a quarter inch in diameter and that the chairman was to undergo treatments involving radiation therapy.
