Motorist Killed After Hitting Street Light

NEWPORT BEACH — A Huntington Beach man was killed early Saturday after losing control of his car and striking a street light on Coast Highway, police said.
Walter Russell Morris, 33, died of massive head injuries at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana after the crash about 12:35 a.m. east of 61st Street, police said. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
