Del Webb Director Plans Proxy Fight: James J. Cotter, a member of the Phoenix-based real estate firm’s board, intends to run three candidates, including himself, for board seats in opposition to management’s slate at the firm’s upcoming annual meeting of shareholders, Del Webb said. The firm called Cotter’s action “self-serving” and said it would not renominate him on management’s slate.
