Weintraub Scales Back TV Plans: Weintraub Entertainment Group, after a nearly two-year push in television program production, is scaling back its operation and has sold off several development projects to other studios. Last week, Weintraub announced that Barney Rosenzweig, chairman of its television department, had resigned, and other TV executives are said to be negotiating release. Weintraub officials declined to comment.
