Oil Industry Warned on Environmental Image: “You must view ‘environment’ as a byword and not a burden,” Deputy Energy Secretary W. Henson Moore told the National Petroleum Refiners Assn. “Either we do it responsibly or those on the fringes will do it irresponsibly for us.” Moore urged a “better job at taking on public opinion,” warning that an end to domestic refineries could be a worst-case scenario.
