Mayor Proclaims Week of Young Child

WHITTIER — Mayor Victor Lopez has proclaimed Monday through April 9 the Week of the Young Child. Lopez issued the proclamation last Wednesday. Kathleen Pompey and Norma Stryker, co-chairs of the Week of the Young Child Committee for the Whittier Chapter of the Southern California Assn. for the Education of Young Children, accepted the mayor’s proclamation.
