SHORT TAKES : 2 Warhol Prints Stolen in Tokyo

TOKYO — Two Andy Warhol silk-screen prints were stolen from an exhibit of paintings, sculptures and other works of modern art in Tokyo, police said today.
Warhol’s “Paramount” and “The New Spirit,” reportedly worth $144,000 apiece, were reported to have been stolen between 8 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday at the Tokyo International Trade Center at Harumi, police said.
