American Health Services Corp.: The Newport Beach-based operator of outpatient diagnostic imaging centers posted record results for 1989. Net income was $910,145, contrasted with a loss of $4.7 million for the previous year. The 1988 figure included a loss of $4.1 million from operations of discontinued activities and a $1.4-million loss from the disposal of discontinued operations. Revenue increased 72%, to $25.1 million from $14.6 million.
