TAX NIGHT: More certain than swallows returning to Capistrano, taxpayers return to Orange County post offices tonight for the annual midnight filing deadline (B1). . . . They flock in biggest numbers to the postal center on Sunflower Avenue in Santa Ana, where it’s worse than the whole Christmas season crammed into one night, said one postal official. . . . “At Christmas, at least you see a few smiling faces, but these people are not very happy. We all get snapped at,” she said. . . . The whole event has become so big that KIIS-FM will broadcast live from the parking lot (6 to 10 p.m.).
