Finley Named Angel of Week

Pitcher Chuck Finley, who leads the Angels’ starters in victories, is The Times’ Orange County Edition Angel of the Week.
Finley pitched eight innings, allowing three hits and no earned runs, against the Twins at Anaheim Stadium April 15. He struck out four and walked three to earn his second victory and keep his earned-run average at 0.00.
A check for $250 in Finley’s name will be given to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Orange County.
