Marriott Denies Talking With Sizzler: Marriott Corp. said it is considering proposals from several companies that want to buy its family restaurant business but is not negotiating a sale with Sizzler Restaurants International. Washington-based Marriott said “contrary to public statements made by Sizzler . . . no decision to negotiate with any single party has been made.” Marriott announced in December that it would withdraw from the family restaurant business as part of a restructuring.
