Real Prospector Scores Win

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Real Prospector took the lead just before the sixteenth pole and beat Coach Fox by 1 1/4 lengths in the $20,780 Indian Emerald Allowance, the feature race Tuesday at Churchill Downs.
The winner, ridden by Jim McKnight, sprinted the 6 1/2 furlongs in 1:18 4/5 and paid $6.40. The win was the 3-year-old colt’s fourth in 16 starts.
