PINCH HITTER: Good news for Joe Garagiola fans--he won’t be disappearing from Angels cable telecasts after all. . . . NBC veteran Charlie Jones will pinch hit for Garagiola during the 17 SportsChannel broadcasts that conflict with Joe’s “Today” show commitments. . . . Garagiola will work the other 10 telecasts this season (D3). SportsChannel also corrected reports that Garagiola’s partner, Joe Torre, might be replaced. “We value Joe very much,” said a spokeswoman.
