Mitchelson Settles Suit: Celebrity divorce lawyer Marvin M. Mitchelson settled a suit Tuesday with his landlord over $27,641 in back rent, expenses and interests. JMB Group Trust III filed the Los Angeles Superior Court case, seeking to evict Mitchelson from his 356,387-square-foot Century City office after he fell behind in the $12,158 monthly rent and also owed money for operating expenses. Mitchelson said the suit stemmed from “a difference of opinion.” (Filed May 22, 1990. Case No. BC001729)
