SOUVENIRS: It’s a library but it’s also a museum. And what’s a museum without a gift shop? This one will have lots of books, including special editions of Nixon’s works, plus Julie’s biography of Pat, along with “RN” neckties and “Camp David-style” jackets with the library insignia, post-cards, original campaign buttons for collectors and even key chains. The emphasis will be on “quality stuff,” says Hugh Hewitt, executive director of the sponsoring foundation. “We’re going to stay away from cheap and tawdry.”
