Jimi Hendrix Video Deal Sparks Suit: Active Home Video of Culver City filed a breach-of-contract suit against Transvue Pictures Corp. contending that Transvue wrongfully sold Active the exclusive right to make, rent and sell the Jimi Hendrix video “Rainbow Bridge.” The Los Angeles Superior Court suit says Active was successfully sued in June, 1986, by Hendrix’s estate because Transvue did not own the rights to “Rainbow Bridge.” (Filed May 31, 1990.
