Bergen Brunswig Corp.: The pharmaceuticals distributor said third-quarter profit totaled $21.3 million, up 58% from the same period a year ago. Revenue rose 16% to $1.1 billion. The current results included a $3.5-million gain from early debt retirement. The Orange-based company credited strong sales and improved operating efficiencies.
