Masked gunmen killed a high-ranking Palestinian official inside a Palestinian refugee camp at Tyre in southern Lebanon, security sources said. The sources said gunmen wearing hoods over their heads fired at Ahmed Selim Draz, a senior official of Fatah, the mainstream faction of Yasser Arafat’s Palestine Liberation Organization. Following Draz’s slaying, fighting broke out inside the camp between fighters of various Palestinian factions, the sources said.
