‘Father-Bashing’ or Worthwhile Insight?

Was it really necessary to have the father-bashing on Father’s Day? The only article relating to fathers was the one about a son who was trying to overcome a family history of bad fathers (“New Son Provides Chance to Right Family Wrongs,” June 17).
