Louisiana’s New Abortion Law

In response to “Perform an Abortion, Go to Jail,” editorial, June 18:
In addition to the pending tragedy to poor women who cannot afford to leave Louisiana for an abortion, the taxpayers will pay to support thousands of unwanted children who most often are handicapped physically or mentally or both. Maybe the governor and the legislators have a secret plan to utilize these unwanted.
