The Region : Hearing on Base Line Road

Caltrans will hold a public hearing at the Claremont Library, 208 N. Harvard Place, from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday to discuss improvements along Base Line Road in the cities of Claremont, La Verne and Upland.
Possible improvements include widening the remaining sections of the road to four lanes between College Way and the San Bernardino County line and realigning and widening the road in Claremont.
Written comments may be sent until July 17 to Ronald Kosinski at Caltrans, 120 S. Spring St. Los Angeles, Calif. 90012.
