Re: “Life Is a Picnic as Hollywood Bowl Opens” (July 12): Besides those (socialites) you listed as being present at the Hollywood Bowl opening, there were, to my sure knowledge, Butch, a welder; Scotty, an auto mechanic; Marie, a waitress; Deming, a retired cop, and Marty, unemployed but looking.
We brought some beer in a cooler. We were all there, and don’t you forget it.
