Kent Steffes of Pacific Palisades served an ace for the final point to cap a 15-10 victory for himself and Tim Hovland of Playa del Rey over Sinjin Smith and Randy Stoklos, both of Pacific Palisades, in the finals of the Miller Lite Open volleyball tournament at Cleveland.
