Walt Disney Co.: The entertainment company reported record revenue and net income for the third quarter. Net income totaled $238.4 million, up 23% from the same period of 1989. Revenue was $1.5 billion, up 32%. The Burbank-based firm said its performance was achieved by gains in all three of its segments: theme parks, films and consumer products.
