StarTel Corp.: The Irvine-based telecommunications company said net income for the second quarter totaled $69,000, contrasted with a loss of $470,000 for the same period in 1989. Revenue rose 12%, to $1.9 million from $1.7 million. Net income for the first half was $124,000, contrasted with a loss of $949,000 for the first six months of 1989. Revenue was $3.7 million for the first half of both years.
