East German Cellular Bid: Pacific Telesis Group said Mannesmann Mobilfunk, a telecommunications consortium in which it holds a 26% interest, has been asked to submit a proposal to extend cellular service into Wast Germany. Mannesmann Mobilfunk, currently building the world’s largest digital cellular telephone system in West Germany, was the only company asked to submit such a proposal.
