When Saddam Hussein poured poison gas on young Iranian conscripts, the world looked the other way. When Hussein poured poison gas on women and children in Halabjah, the world looked the other way. When he annihilated Iraq’s Kurdish minority, the world looked the other way.
Meanwhile, the world kept giving this monster infinite amounts of money, arms and credit. It is ironic to see those who fed this snake the most, should now be suffering the most.
